PATIENT ASSISTANCE
There are many options to get help paying for your brand name medications. Included in this list are some regularly used programs for Cardiovascular Clinic patients. Websites are included that will likely be faster to use however, phone numbers are also listed if that is better for you.
Please keep in mind a few important things about this information:
- It is the patient’s responsibility to order and re-order medications
New applications are often needed yearly
- Please read application forms very thoroughly before you sign and mail
Incomplete applications will likely delay the process
- All programs require a physician signature
Give the office ample time to get the paperwork completed
- Application approval will take at least 10 days
Medications will be delivered to our office 7-10 days after approval
Our office will call you when your medications arrive
- Each program has different eligibility requirements including:
Maximum income, family size, lack of other prescription coverage
- Generic medications are not available through these programs
For questions and prices of generic medications, call your local pharmacy (Marcs, CVS, Walgreens, Giant Eagle, Rite Aid, Drug Mart, etc.)
Please be patient as this process can be difficult, but these programs do work if you meet the requirements. Ask a friend or family member for help if you need it, and good luck!
